AFTER THE 48 hour period, it’s important to keep lashes hydrated and nourished. Apply YUMI Keratin Restore Mascara Serum (clear) on the lashes daily or at night to clean lashes.

YUMI Keratin Lash Lifts are safe if pregnant or nursing. However, the results may not last as long due to hormones.

The YUMI processing formulas are meticulously applied by a YUMI Certified Expert. The lashes are gently brushed onto a shield using a water soluble glue. Once each lash is separated and onto the shield, each formula will be applied and then wiped off during the procedure. Your eyes will be closed the entire time until advised to open. At the end of the procedure, your lashes will be fanned dry.

FOR THE FIRST 48 hours after your appointment…

Avoid direct sunlight, fake tans, self tanning products on the face 48 hours before and after your appointment.

Avoid getting the brows wet. This includes steam, saunas, sweat, tears, cleansers, moisturizers, makeup, makeup removers/wipes, sleeping masks, swimming, etc.

Avoid exfoliating the brow area, and the use of Retin-A and AHA for 72 hour before and after treatment.

The new shape of the brows can take 24 hours for the bonds to settle, secure and hold. It’s crucial to follow these aftercare instructions.

AFTER THE 48 hour period, apply Keratin Restore Mascara Serum on the brows daily & at night to clean brows. It will hydrate and nourish the brows and prevent them from becoming brittle.

Avoid rubbing or touching brows with your fingers. Always use a clean brush.

The brow hairs will move especially after they get wet. Pat dry and gently brush them and set them with a brow gel or Keratin Restore Mascara.

Laminations can only be done every 4-8weeks. Maintenance appointments are available in between lamination appointments, which includes, wax/tweeze, trim, tint (optional), and a deep moisturizing treatment.

CATAGEN PHASE

Transitional stage - Short phase lasting approximately 2 weeks in which the lash stops growing.

Mature State - Also knows as the resting phase. Lashes are fully grown and ready to shed.

Your health and well-being is our top priority and not everyone is eligible for the treatment. Those who are prone to any form of eye disease, have mild or severe allergies, and are under the age of 16 (parental consent is required), suffer from chronic back or neck pain and cannot lay down for 60-90 minutes, are unable to keep their eyes closed for a long period of time and expected mothers may not be eligible for the treatment, among other conditions.

What you should know

Extension Appointment

Cleansing your eye area and lashes is very important when you have eyelash extensions. Cleansing will prevent eye irritation, and oil build up that can weaken the health of the lashes and adhesive bond.

Avoid touching the eyes with your fingers! Please only use a clean lash spoolie. I will provide a complimentary aftercare kit for you, which includes, 1 lash cleanser, 1 cleansing brush and a spoolie.

With the cleanser and cleansing brush, clean the upper eyelids, lashes and lash line from natural oils, sweat, concealer, makeup and dirt/dust every morning & night. Especially after sweating or swimming. Pat lashes dry with a LINT FREE TOWEL and brush them once dry.

Wash your hair prior to your appointment. You will not be able to wet the lashes wet for 24 hours after application.

Arrive to your appointment with zero makeup, lotion, sunscreen. Please bring it with you and you may apply those afterwards.

Do not wear contact lenses to your appointment. We have contact solution available if needed.

Bring a cozy blanket from home. Blankets will not be provided.

It’s important to get your lashes examined by me before a lash lift or eyelash extensions, so I can determine what cycle and state your lashes are in and decide what service is best for you.

The best time to get a lash lift is during the CATAGEN PHASE. There is minimal natural lash loss and minimal growth of the lashes. I will try my best to calculate this for you. You may need to start a lash rehab routine if lashes are damaged.

Lash shedding and regenerating is a natural part of the hair growth cycle. On average, everyone loses 1-5 lashes per day.

Causes of excessive lash shedding can be from stress, a new diet, hormones, or medication.
